ONE DAY FROM THE INNOVATIVE LIFE OF VASILIY IVANOVICH. ARTICLE 5

  At 7:00 sharp, Elia, Vasiliy Ivanovich's wife, wakes up, as her pajamas sends her skin a soft touch of an awakening. After a few minutes, she gets up, goes to have a shower, equipped with an infrared sensor, which automatically turns on the water at the desired temperature. The shower is connected to a “smart” water heater, which knows the habits of family members and adjusts the temperature accordingly. Elia moves from one room to another, and the light automatically switches on and off from movements. The combination of motion sensors and software beacon on the realphone and in clothing responds to her presence. (Old-fashioned hand switches are also there - in case they are needed by their grandmother, who sometimes visits them).
 
After getting dressed, Elia goes downstairs, where the coffee machine, knowing the time she went out of the shower, is already preparing a hot cappuccino with cream and ginger. Elia takes the cottage cheese from the fridge, and it automatically adds this product to the next shopping list. After breakfast, she says goodbye to Vasiliy Ivanovich and two children, Andrey and Kira. Vasiliy Ivanovich will ensure that the children go to school (it is the day of class presentations, so they must be at school!!!), and then go to the home office. Vasiliy Ivanovich takes Borodinsky bread for sandwiches and puts it in the microwave. He selects the brown bread icon on the realphone application, and the microwave starts downloading. Then Vasiliy Ivanovich puts bread in a toaster, and when the toast is ready, spreads cream cheese on it.
 
As a director of a small company for development innovative artifacts, Vasiliy Ivanovich works mostly at home. The computer recognizes his presence; biometric authentication is used to log in to the system, after which a set of key parameters is displayed. Those messages and files with which he worked on the tablet last night appear in the same form he left them. All data is synchronized with a cloud service. Only sometimes Vasiliy Ivanovich needs to go out for meetings. When it is required, like today, he gets into the car of shared use, which is already waiting for him near the entrance. With the help of a software request from the realphone, the service sends him a car within ten minutes. Vasiliy Ivanovich pays only for the used time and the distance he travelled.
 
Elia is a teacher, class teacher of 8-A (22 + 12 with special abilities). Before going to work at school, she checks her realphone to see information about the situation on the roads, as well as to view and adjust her schedule for classes with children. After receiving the information, she chooses the best route and provides it to the car. Since she drives an autonomous car that does not require any human intervention, during 30 km to work she usually listens to the car computer which reads e-mails and text messages from students’ homework, and then offers marks for work done. When she finishes checking, she turns multimedia on using just a voice command. She reviews the biology presentation prepared by the children thoroughly and makes voice notes that are “thrown” into the text of the presentation. Um, on the way a road billboard advertising the local restaurant (Vasiliy Ivanovich’s favorite restaurant) sends a coupon for breakfast to its navigation system, but today she refuses.
 
Near the school, Elia leaves the car in a special area near the sidewalk. The car is parked itself in a building nearby. Elia enters the school, and her radio-frequency identification tagged badge alerts the administrator that she is in place and on the way to a classroom of experimental biology.  In the room, Elia takes a tablet that shows the students’ success rate, including all data on current achievement with recommendations and observations from other teachers. All data, such as communication, meaningfulness, organization, involvement, activity, physical condition of students, as well as the schedule of tasks for individual work and the schedule of upcoming meetings with parents of students at the class meeting, go to the program of analysis of current performance. Video conferencing is being prepared automatically. Elia can choose any of the parameters on the screen to see more detailed information, for example, she is interested in the data on the English language for the latest project and the preparation of a theatre group (homework for Ukrainian literature), as well as recommendations derived from the responses of teachers and technicians.
 
This school is different from what we have today. Of course, dear readers, the world is different, but we are moving forward too. In physical education classes, children wear bracelets with radio frequency tags that monitor their individual activity and correct activity. If the teacher begins to set the child an increased load on the cycle track, the system issues a visual and audible signal. Children use smartphones or tablets to call the class teacher, switching the video recorder's visor channels or ordering food. The school's administration tracks all important information online on tablets, including current marks, children's activity and other general information. Current marks and % of term assignments for teachers and tutors in real time are automatically sent to parents every day on their smartphones at 18.00 in the category “My child in school”.
 
Incredibly, even in an institution like a school, you will never see a piece of paper anywhere. You'd think how children can do without handwriting, and long fractions division, but alas, it is. From the second form (13 years of study in total!!!), teachers and mentors transmit all information to children in electronic form. After all, children are able to find a solution to a learning task, and all this can be easily found on the net. Just need to try. It is also possible to track responses in real time and predict how to improve them.
 
So, all the streaming data comes into the school database, where they are analyzed by administrators in order to develop the creativity of children better, their habits and desire to achieve success. The school’s analytical system processes incoming data, and determines when and how to teach children life skills effectively, and what approach or type of activity teachers need, taking into account the characteristics of the student himself, the school, and various social factors. And all this comes to Elia on her realphone.
 
At lunchtime, Elia sends an order from her realphone, goes to the nearest cafe and takes food. Lunch is automatically paid from her e-wallet, with a single touch of the realphone to the reader at the checkout. At dinner, she receives a message from a student, Bohdan, who cannot deal with the experimental base for a given home task. Elia creates a digital key to the entrance of the house through the phone. When Bohdan arrives in the evening, he will be able to enter the front door with his smartphone. After two hours, when he leaves, the digital key will be deleted.
 
Vasiliy Ivanovich’s work in marketing has also changed significantly over the past decade. He monitors changes in development benchmarks, 3-D models, their certification from his home computer real-time. Vasiliy Ivanovich observes the way computer adjusts automatically pricing based on actual sales and new developments. When Vasiliy Ivanovich receives a notification about the development of a new innovative artifact, he creates a working group for a videoconference with a few clicks on the tablet. The program automatically tightens resources.
 
At home, smart little robots feed the fish and take care of the son's ant farm, and make the children’s beds, clean the rooms, dust, vacuum the floors, ozonate the air and water the flowers. They also perform the functions of the security system, ensuring that an unknown or unauthorized visitor does not appear. Such assistants are equipped with a camera and an audio sensor so that Vasiliy Ivanovich and Elia have eyes and ears in the house while they are not there themselves. When someone from the family is at home, such sensors go out at their command.
 
At the end of the day, Elia returns to her home. She visits a supermarket to buy some things. The smart shopping cart "connects" to her smartphone and shows the list of necessary goods. The system directs it to the necessary things itself, however, at the same time, Elia receives promotions from manufacturers for other goods. (The choice is always yours). Elia takes the goods from the shelves and puts them in a reusable bag. Taking everything she needs, she just leaves the store. All goods are equipped with radio frequency tags, the reader counts the amount and makes an electronic payment, about which Elia receives a notification immediately and a check by e-mail.
 
Later, she and her husband prepare dinner according to the recipe suggested by the computer, which focuses on the products in the fridge and pantry. For some time, the system remembered and knows their preferences, but also takes into account their health using bracelets, sensors in clothing and other sources in order to optimize the nutritional and caloric content of dishes.
 
After a family dinner, Elia and Vasiliy Ivanovich help Andrey and Kira to do their homework on the tablet, and then decide to watch a documentary about the future of technology with their children. They will learn about new developments, which in a few years will create smart cities that dynamically adapt to the ever-changing situation on the roads, consumer habits, the weather and many other variable factors. These systems will significantly reduce energy consumption, and will also save time and money for each person. Then the children travel around the virtual zoo in Africa, wearing special gloves and glasses. There they will feed the giraffe, feeling the touch of his tongue in their palm, and stroke the lion. Feelings are quite unusual.
 
When the children go to bed, Vasiliy Ivanovich scans the proposed choice of dishes in his favorite restaurant, using a small helmet that is connected to a computer. He books a table for the next Friday night for the whole family. But here is bad luck. He receives a notice that the drain in the kitchen is clogged. The system is  automatically ready to notify the company that it is necessary to arrive and clean at a pre-set price, and the owner confirms the notification with a voice command. Before going to bed, the husband and wife read e-books, and after a few minutes the light is turned off by voice command. Sensors in bed and clothing monitor the phases of sleep, and when morning comes, the system slowly begins to adjust the lighting to help people wake refreshed.
 
Obviously, this scenario does not cover all possible aspects of the Internet of Everything. Vasiliy Ivanovich and Elia are likely to encounter many more amusing systems throughout the day. They also have various minor troubles and problems, for example, privacy settings or the threat of potential fraud in the use of electronic payment system. But their life will still be very different from ours today. Technology will be much deeper and stronger woven into everyday life. And all this we will pass too.

FICTION REALITY

...23.09.1999, the space station NASA "Mars" started the mid-flight engines to stay at the orbit of the planet. Ten-month journey from Earth to Mars has ended. The station was programmed to follow all the instructions and, passing the reverse side of Mars, disappeared from the radar. Engineers were looking forward to her appearance on the other side. It took 10 minutes (waiting limit). Nothing. The Flight Operations Control Center became nervous, (not a joke - 10 years of difficult work !!!). They searched the Mars atmosphere but to no avail.

The space station had disappeared!
Turns out that the spaceship entered another orbit, flying too low. As a result, it was burned in the atmosphere. In fact, it took a lot of time to understand the cause of the incident: in a mathematical equation, the units of measurement have not been transfered from English to metric system of measurement, and a $ 300 million space station went to certain death. The ship was doomed... 

..We found a similar content,, where the man but not the space station, died during the teleportation from one point of space to another. And the reason was a small invisible programme, which is installed on all our computers...
So, if NASA engineers have studied the content, it is likely that the station would not have been lost.
